Do Now: What are the pro's and con's of the Friar's plan for Juliet?

-I can make a connection between a short passage from the play and a big idea.
-I can recognize an important method Shakespeare uses in a passage and explain what it emphasizes or suggests.

1. IV.i The Friar's Plan
2. Working on rough drafts
3. Exit Ticket: "Virtue itself turns vice, being misapplied" (II.iii.21) Connect the Friar's line to an event in the play. Where do we see good intentions (i.e., virtue) deliver bad consequences?

HW: read IV.ii-iv and post a question, comment, observation, connection, response, etc. on the blog.
