Please use your brainstorm (list, graphic organizer, web, etc.) to think about what elements might work best in your vignette. Make lists about things like appropriate tones and literary devices to include. Make sure I can see your ideas on paper or on your iPad!

Do Now: Please share your quotation, idea, and question from The Hate U Give with your group. When everyone has had an opportunity to share, consider which quotation, idea, or question is most compelling. Each group will report back to the class with this selection, and it will become part of a silent dialogue we conduct during our next class.
